This wonderful design together with its low maintenance and strong, safe construction will appeal to all age groups in both private and business sectors. Made from strong, crystal clear acrylic with a capacity of 60 litres (16 US Gallons) of water and weighing 60 kilos (132pounds) when full, it is ideal for most types of fish keeping. Available in eight different colours and supplied complete with a 5 stage internal filter, ceramic media, air pump, plug top 12 volt transformer, halogen light unit (LED light is optional at extra cost), water treatment, fish food and full set of instructions – just add water and fish. With safety as a major design feature the biOrb 60L is operated at 12 volts ac power which reduces the risk of accidental electric shock.

The 60 liter fish bowl incorporates a clever and easy to change filtration system that has been designed to provide maximum benefits to both fish and fish keepers. Maintenance is reduced thanks to the easy to change filter cartridge system. Simply replace the cartridge every 6-8 weeks to take out the rubbish without disturbing the natural balance of the aquarium. Special sintered ceramic media provides massive first stage biological filtration. The unique filter design combines mechanical, chemical and biological filtration to keep the water healthy and clear.

The globe is manufactured from Plexiglas acrylic and because of its larger water capacity, the biOrb provides fish with approximately ten times more space than a traditional bowl.
